Description

The Fredrick Bassett Pint Mug is 4-3/4 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter at the top.  It holds nearly 20 ounces.

Frederick Bassett was an American pewter smith working in the latter part of the 1700s, mostly in Connecticut and New York.  We based our pint mug on examples of his mug.  One of the defining characteristics of Bassett’s Pint Mug is the whale tale handle.  Bassett would have had molds to cast his mug, while ours is spun on the lathe.  This mug, while considered a “pint” (16 ounces by volume) is perfect for a draft pint plus foam!  or fill it with your favorite mixed drink or soft drink.
